babs68 Posted March 13, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2018 Does any one know all the food choices you have on the day you load on the boat sometimes you can go to dinning room, fish restaurant or other restaurants. I do not want to go to the buffet with everyone else. Help would love any tips that I need to know about the valor.....
cheermomof2girls Posted March 13, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 13, 2018 Guys burgers, blue iguana, room service, the seafood shack. I don't think the dining room is open at lunch, but I may be mistaken on that. :)
Shaded Lady Posted March 13, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 13, 2018 Dining room is not open on embarkation day for lunch. All the other choices the previous poster suggested are good alternatives to the Lido... if the buffet is the thing that turns you off, not the location, they have deli & pizza in the same area, but they're not in the buffet. The deli sandwiches are awesome...
bethshebas Posted March 23, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 23, 2018 Try the sushi. It's located on the lido deck about halfway back
Rare MeganGC1983 Posted March 23, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 23, 2018 All of the ones mentioned, plus the Bar-b-que on 10 above Rosie's Restaurant buffet. It's never very busy especially on embarkment day. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Rare MeganGC1983 Posted March 24, 2018 #7 Share Posted March 24, 2018 The pulled pork and the brisket are both pretty good. I prefer the BBQ sauce from Guy's condiment bar. I take a side ramekin up with me. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

I do not want to go to the buffet with everyone else. Help would love any tips that I need to know about the valor..... We cruised the valor twice in 2017. We usually get a guys burger, burrito from blue iguana and stir fry from Mongolian wok. We are so excited to cruise that we never eat until we get on the ship. The blue iguana will usually have chicken or pork tacos or burritos on the first day. The Mongolian wok has good options too . Of course we will get some things from the buffet and it is always fresh because we board very early in the day most cruises. Micahs Grandad Posted March 24, 2018 #9 Share Posted March 24, 2018 I need to try that. I've heard a lot about the bar b que. What is your favorite item to get there? Brisket for sure. Do not care for dark meat chicken and do not eat pork.
