M Life benefits on Royal Caribbean - don't miss out on OBC

Recommended Posts

A few months ago before going to Las Vegas I asked on here about getting an M Life membership through Crown and Anchor. I did so and got a few small perks in Vegas. Nice.

But today I was thinking...I wonder what M life members get on Royal Caribbean?

I called up C&A desk with my M Life card in hand and they added $125 OBC to my reservation, no questions asked, already have a new guest confirmation in hand showing the OBC.

I think they made a mistake in your favor so enjoy it.

If your M Life status is due to C&A match I don’t think you qualify for anything on board unless you have qualified by your play at an M Life casino.

All I asked for was what, if any, perks did I qualify for and gave my M life number. Fast and easy call. Got my new confirmation while on the phone. Whole phone call was less than 3 minutes.

It was a mistake, you are only suppose to get perks for MLife on Royal if you actually earned the status in Vegas. I looked into it myself since being Diamond Plus gives you Platinum status with Mlife when in Vegas.

This is my understanding and experience as well. Mistakes by employees have been made though and extra benefits given when they shouldn’t have been.

Did you call C&A or Club Royal? I thought you had to call Club Royal to register MLife Status. I have not linked mine this year since I renewed my Staus at MLife. I am MLife gold, but to be honest the last time I tried to linked the accounts, it got It screwed up. So I was reluctant to link them again.

Interesting. I have been told three times over the years I get nothing from my Platinum MLife/Diamond Plus status. Just returned from an MGM resort in Vegas too.

If you are Plat w M Life you should get $200 OBC and a 3-5 day cruise free in an Oceanview

Never. Nothing. Disclaimer is - if you get your Platinum level through your Crown & Anchor status, you get no cruise or anything - so I was told. I'll call again tomorrow but don't see a telephone # on the MLife site except for reservations. Thanks.

I just called the C&A desk and they said they cannot help me and I have to call Club Royale. They are closed so I'll try again tomorrow. Odd that they helped the OP but not me.

Have never spoken to or dealt with Club Royale. Dealt with C&A (800) 526-9723

You are correct. See disclaimer #4 at the end of the earlier attachment

Conclusion: I called C&A three different times, and like the OP I simply asked what MLife benefits I get. All three agents immediately said they could not help me with that and I would need to contact Club Royale (at least they were consistent). Upon inquiring with Club Royale and waiting on the phone about ten minutes the rep came back with an answer. The only thing available to me as a Platinum/Diamond Plus member having just played in Vegas is NOTHING - just the casino rate on a new booking. I told her some lower tier members were getting OBC and she said, "yeah, I don't understand that either."

The poster attempting to gain the benefit has not said they got M life because of Royal Caribbean. They might have had M life separately before. When you call simply ask them to look up your M life and provide that membership number. It can't be that only me and a friend of mine got this with a simple 2 minute phone call.
