airtana Posted March 21, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2018 Can anyone let me know if there is a retractable clothes line in the bathrooms onboard the Riviera?
edgee Posted March 21, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2018 Can anyone let me know if there is a retractable clothes line in the bathrooms onboard the Riviera? Yes, runs over bathtub. We used it to dry swimsuits and "not quite dry" items from the dryer on our cruise last month.
keithm Posted March 21, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 21, 2018 (edited) Can anyone let me know if there is a retractable clothes line in the bathrooms onboard the Riviera? There is one in the tub. If you've not seen the movie "Final Destination"(the first one)those little retractable clothes lines can be a real nuisance! cephelapodia Posted March 22, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 22, 2018 I was in a deck 12 Oceania Suite on the sister ship Marina last month, and there was no drying line in either bathroom.
JimandStan Posted March 22, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 22, 2018 I was in a deck 12 Oceania Suite on the sister ship Marina last month, and there was no drying line in either bathroom. The built in drying lines only work in tubs which sit between two walls. In the OVO Suites, where the tubs are freestanding, the Butler brings in a drying rack. ;)

The new laundry amenity was fantastic, and for small things I just draped them on the edge of the tub. Well, at least the next person will know! sitraveler Posted March 22, 2018 #7 Share Posted March 22, 2018 On my last cruise, first as a single, I didn't pack clothespins. A mistake.

janecambridge Posted March 25, 2018 #11 Share Posted March 25, 2018 In our Marina Oceania suite,we were not offered a drying rack despite not having a line and the launderettes were shut for most of the 18 night cruise. We were told not to put clothes on the balcony at any time. Became a nightmare in muggy wet Polynesia!
