matamanoa Posted March 24, 2018 #26 Share Posted March 24, 2018 What an amazing trip down memory lane, even though I have never been to Liverpool. Your photos and experiences sure make me want to include it on our next trip to Britain. Thank you for posting all those wonderful pictures! Rare Keith1010 Posted March 25, 2018 Author #28 Share Posted March 25, 2018 Thank you for posting these - Thoroughly enjoyed looking at the photos Keith - you obviously enjoyed your visit. We are off to Liverpool in October to see the Terracotta Warriors exhibition and are looking forward to seeing the city again. Next time make your trip a bit longer - there is a very convenient Marriott hotel, right in the centre and handy for all the sights. Glad you enjoyed the photos. Yes, next time we will stay longer. Wishing you a terrific visit in October. Keith
Rare Keith1010 Posted March 25, 2018 Author #29 Share Posted March 25, 2018 Thanks for posting, great photos. We are fortunate to live only a 45 minute drive from Liverpool so a day out to walk along the waterfront, Albert Dock and admire the 'Three Graces' (Liver Building, Cunard Building and Port of Liverpool Building) is a regular experience. Liverpool has some excellent museums. Oddly, we have never done a Beatles Tour. My wife was born across the Mersey but was just too young to see the Beatles live. She was very envious of her older cousins who went to the Cavern Club on a regular basis. You are so lucky to live so close. Love the city and want to go back. So much to see. I remember The Beatles as if they performed yesterday. I was only in the 4th grade when they made it to the USA for the first time but like so many others here saw them perform on the Television. Rare Host Bonjour Posted March 25, 2018 #35 Share Posted March 25, 2018 Totally cool  Glad you both had such a fun day. But, The Beatles aside, as if one could put them to the side, Liverpool is full of history so who wouldn’t want to visit? Glad to know you’ll go back to visit the area again. Also enjoyed your Dublin pics and after seeing the Beatles tour am now convinced that if I ever get to Dublin, I’ll do the same thing but for U2 as their my Beatles although I know even the lads would even say you can’t ever compare us to a band like the Beatles, we’re not worthy! I only use it as an analogy ;) Thanks again for the magical mystery photo tour :)

The Beatles channel is always on my Sirius XM channel. Some might say I’m obsessed. Loved visiting there so much!
