39august Posted March 24, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 24, 2018 No suite dining areas. On Liberty suite pax have access to Giovanni's Table for cooked to order breakfast and a limited lunch menu on sea days. There is a very nice Suite Lounge on deck 14 only for suite pax and Pinnacle C&A members. There is a very nice continental breakfast every morning and a 3.5 hour "cocktail time" each evening with wine, beer, sodas and basic mixed drinks. The lounge is open 24/7 and there is a coffee machine for lattes, cappicinos etc.Great sea views there. Don't know if Freedom has the suite lounge yet. vistapat Posted March 24, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 24, 2018 There was also lunch at least they had it last year n Giovanni’s on sea days, it was a very small menu and not Italian By "access" do you mean that lunch on sea days and breakfasts are free for passengers sailing in suites? Is breakfast in Giovanni's available every day for suite guests? And what type of dishes are on the limited menu? Thanks, Pat
39august Posted March 24, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 24, 2018 Yes, free to suite guests. Lunch is typically either strip steak, salmon or chicken. Breakfast is every day, different times whether a sea day or port day. Typically, port days are 7-9 AM and sea days 8-10 AM with eggs various ways including benedict, pan cakes, fruit, various pastries, omelets, meats, etc.

Our only other cruise in a full suite was many years ago and was a last-minute upsell, so this time we're trying to find our way around before we get on board. Pstreet12 Posted March 25, 2018 Author #8 Share Posted March 25, 2018 Many thanks. I suppose since Freedom class is smaller than Anthem and Oasis classes, there are no plans for a Coastal Kitchen--but it would be nice.

We normally don’t grand suites on rccl but have not been on ship with costal kitchen yet , will do oasis next. Really was impressed with very recent celebrity cruise, all of there ships have suite restaurant and there suite lounge has real drinks all day fro morning till midnight not just 3 hours like rccl
BEENSAILING Posted March 25, 2018 #10 Share Posted March 25, 2018 On Freedom class ships, do suites have any special dining venues? Any set-aside space for breakfast/lunch? On Freedom - Grande Suites and above and Pinnacle's - sit down cooked to order breakfast in Chops last week. If you are in a Grande Suite and above you can order the MDR menu (as well as room service menu) for dinner to be delivered to your stateroom at no charge and no added gratuity (though nice to tip whoever does the delivery.) If you are in Grande Suite and above you can order MDR breakfast and lunch menu and anything from the room service menu delivered to your stateroom at no charge and no added gratuity (though nice to tip whoever does the delivery.) Grande Suite and above and Pinnacle comp lunch served in either Giovanni's or Chops (designated by the ship). Diamond Plus, Grande Suites and above and Pinnacle can have continental breakfast in the Concierge Lounge (no hot foods.) On the Freedom the Concierge Lounge is still Concierge Lounge and will not be changed over to Suites Lounge until dry dock (I believe 2019...) ndabunka Posted May 6, 2018 #11 Share Posted May 6, 2018 On the Freedom the Concierge Lounge is still Concierge Lounge and will not be moved and redone as Suites lounge until dry dock Long time sailing on numerous lines but first time in a Grande Suite with RCI. What is a Concierge Lounge and how is it different from a Suite Lounge? We have made use of Concierge lounges with Marriott with their happy hour drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Are you saying that does not happen in the RCI concierge lounge?
