Be Careful when you read the Cruise Review Feature On Cruise Critic

I was looking at readers' reviews on the Oosterdam and noticed the the reviews are not in chronological order. A 2018 review was followed by a 2015 review. Among the first ten reviews of this ship I found a review from 2008 followed by a 2015 review followed by a review dated from 2017. You get the point.

 

Check carefully or may get a two year old review before a major dry dock.

 

I hope that some reads this and fixes the problem.

Right -- reviews and excursions are never kept in order from newest to oldest.

I recall at one time they were listed in chrono order, latest being first.

That was the way it was for sure. Not sure if it chenged when they changed the forum or not.

 

But, it has definitely changed - and not for the better.

If you pull up the ship you wish to read about in reviews, there should be a blue "sort by" to the right. You can then arrange the reviews in chronological order.

The MEMBER REVIEW function is working perfectly.:D

 

There are 4 sort criteria available for reading the reviews:

 

Sailing date - newest to oldest

Sailing date - oldest to newest

Rating - highest to lowest

Rating - lowest to highest

 

Just find the SORT BY dropdown menu and choose the order you want. It's really easy to do.
