How much cash would YOU carry for a Mediterranean cruise?

We don't have kids so:

If I am on a planned excursion most of the day around 30 euro pp

If I am hanging out in port around 50 euro pp

If I am hanging around in port and I am planning a meal 70+ euro pp

In Italy it may be a bit more as although Italy isn't as expensive as people think they do have Coperto in lots of establishments. It's highly likely we won't spend the above sometimes but we like buying something to remember the trip and trying local foods and drinks.

Also...depending on your ports you may also need another currency. Croatia uses Kuna for example and they prefer those.

I can't break it down that way.

I leave the US with 200 eu. That will get me from the airport to my hotel or rented apartment, and buy a basic meal. Following that, I either pay with a credit card or withdraw euros from an ATM as I need to.
