Are megaships going to be the new standard?

I've done Mega and I've done smaller, both have pros and cons.

 

the industry will always evolve. my wife has cruised for her entire life and has stories of old time sailings. meh. (I've done all my trips this decade)

 

I DO like it when fewer ships are in a port when I'm there.

I think that everything goes in cycles, in 30 years it will be a “new” thing to go on smaller ships for a different generation :cool:

 

In 30 years the lines won't waste money on gas sailing the ships around. All the "we go for the ship and don't get off at the ports" people will end up winning. :p
