Caribbean Princess boarding time in Ft. Lauderdale

In general, when does boarding begin for the Caribbean Princess in Ft. Lauderdale? Thanks.

In January, we were in our cabin a little before noon. We were one of the first to board.

In mid-March we were on board by about 11:25. We were in the first boarding group, but it went very quickly.

you can ignore that email when you get it, as it is "suggested times" - much like the formal night "dress code" in the mdr...:evilsmile:

We cruised on Coral in February. Smoothest boarding we've ever experienced. Arrived at the pier ~ 10:45. Boarding started at the stroke of 11:15. We were in the cabin by 11:45.

 

 

Staff in FLL were really on their game on this particular occasion.

On our Panama Canal cruise in Feb our group had our ground transportation pick us up at 11:00am. They dropped us off where they were collecting luggage and went straight trough check-in. We dropped our carry-on luggage off at our rooms (Plaza) and were eating lunch in the buffet by 12:00pm. We all could not have been happier.

Did you get advance notice of the Inspection? Seems I’m reading of them more often lately.

 

Plus the dog smelling something and a fire evacuation causing evacuations and delays.

 

We have a three hour drive without any delays but advance noticecwouldvbeceelcome for May 1 boarding.
