LadyBerard Posted April 12, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2018 If you are booked in a non refundable fare, and the rate goes down for non refundable fares, can you call and get the lower price........i.e. the new sale that started today, or is it just for new bookings? Biker19 Posted April 12, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2018 Unless the new promo is for new bookings only, you can get price drops with NRD.
dacsmom Posted April 12, 2018 #3 Share Posted April 12, 2018 I did several months ago for a September cruise. I booked non refundable and then a great sale came up. I lost my original $100 OBC but saved much more on the fare. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Forums mobile app
deliver42 Posted April 12, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 12, 2018 Sam thing happened to me. I booked refundable, and switched to a non refundable. I saved $400.00 on the fare, but lost $100.00 OBC. Later, they came up with another sale, and I got back $75.00 of the $100.00 I lost. No change to my cruise fare.

Biker19 Posted April 12, 2018 #6 Share Posted April 12, 2018 So, is the sale that started today for new bookings only??? You'd have to check the sale details, but unlikely.
Merion_Mom Posted April 12, 2018 #7 Share Posted April 12, 2018 So, is the sale that started today for new bookings only??? Most of the time, the pricing that is "for new bookings only" is the Going, Going, Gone flyer, which comes out weekly. http://www.creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal/Multi_Dest/Special_Offers/rci_sales_event.pdf

Retired LEO Posted April 12, 2018 #11 Share Posted April 12, 2018 So, is the sale that started today for new bookings only??? Just call. I just got an existing booking reduced by $100.
LadyBerard Posted April 12, 2018 Author #12 Share Posted April 12, 2018 I know I can call and ask, but it is usually much quicker to ask a question on Cruise Critic than it is to call and wait on hold.. And........not all the time........but sometimes the reps have wrong info., and usually the info. found on these boards is quite useful and accurate. I love Cruise Critic!!!
