pineapple1176 Posted April 16, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 16, 2018 This will be our first cruise on Viking Ocean lines. Our previous stateroom bed experience on Celebrity, Princess and Carnival was good but often required asking our steward for an eggcrate topper for comfort. We understand our Viking bed will be a king! Happy for that! Opinions, please, on the comfort of Viking Sea beds. Do they offer or even need extra toppers? tubeamps Posted April 16, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 16, 2018 My wife and I both thought it was the best bed we’ve had at sea and maybe on land . It was good.
Cyber Kat Posted April 16, 2018 #3 Share Posted April 16, 2018 We found the bed very comfortable and loved the pillows. We did ask the steward for a top sheet. It’s a European thing - they don’t use top sheets - just the duvet. We were on a Caribbean cruise, so the duvet was a bit warm. I was fine, but my husband preferred the sheet. No eggcrate topper needed. Sent from my iPad using Forums
Rare Peregrina651 Posted April 16, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 16, 2018 Just remember that beds, like food, are subjective and, as they say, "your mileage may vary."
PlanoTim Posted April 17, 2018 #5 Share Posted April 17, 2018 What we noticed (or didn’t notice, actually) was that the bed didn’t have the typical chasm in the middle where the two twin-sized beds came together. We thought the bed was firm but comfortable.
CILCIANRQTS Posted April 17, 2018 #6 Share Posted April 17, 2018 We loved the beds. Firm, but not too firm. Got great sleep on them! Sent from my iPad using Forums
