escentialssoycandles Posted April 24, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 24, 2018 I received the change this morning from my TA. This was/is my honeymoon cruise. I do not want to go back to Aruba. I picked this particular itinerary so I could go to ports I have not been to before. I now have to decide if flying to PR is worth it and what to do. Decisions decisions but at least they gave us enough notice.
Georgie562 Posted April 24, 2018 #3 Share Posted April 24, 2018 I wonder if the taking away of Dominica and Martinique has to do with the damage cause by hurricane Maria? Too bad, Dominica is lush and beautiful. One of my favorite so. carib. ports. Grenada also a beautiful island.

Decisions decisions but at least they gave us enough notice. We were just in the ABC islands in October and also didn't want to go back to the same islands. Wanted a full day in St Lucia but what can you do. We are still going though. Don't mind going back to Aruba as we will go to the Riu resort for the day and will have to drink some more Polar beers in Curacao. Bill
Budget Queen Posted April 24, 2018 #5 Share Posted April 24, 2018 for me, this is a superior itinerary. Bonaire, is just superb for my snorkeling. :) I'll be considering it, for late booking. You are early enough at this point to cancel and find something else that you like better.
Rare PTC DAWG Posted April 24, 2018 #6 Share Posted April 24, 2018 Been looking at this cruise...airfare to PR is the killer...IMHO...unless I'm missing a deal...from the ATL.

Wait until about July when Southwest releases its fares. You can get Jet Blue or Southwest from Orlando for about $250 RT, so I cannot imagine it is that much more from Atlanta. Same price we paid last October. That's on American airlines. Crazy that it's more from ATL. Bill

I know its crazy but look at air from Chattanooga, Birmingham, and Augusta. Sure, you'll connect through ATL, but you may save enough to make it worth your time to make the drive.
