linda300 Posted April 29, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2018 Need opinions on balcony staterooms on "Crown Princess" on Baja Deck. Are the balcony panels/railings looking out towards the ocean of see through material so passengers may sit on balcony and still sea the ocean? myfuzzy Posted April 29, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 29, 2018 All balconies are considered "unobstructed" unless your choice of cabin will note that it is "obstructed, whereas it may have a steel "wall" or other nautical item. Check the deck plans of the cabin you are interested in. Usually those cabins are in the forward area.

idahospud Posted April 29, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 29, 2018 While this isn't on Baja deck (don't remember what deck or what ship), it is what the glass on most of the unobstructed Princess balconies look like. http://www.debsdays.com/2012/07/day-491-at-sea.html And if you want to see the cabin layout with the balcony, here's a look here: http://www.debsdays.com/2012/07/day-490-island-princess.html Hope the photos help. Are the balcony panels/railings looking out towards the ocean of see through material so passengers may sit on balcony and still sea the ocean? Looking at photos found by using Google, the panels are clear and can be seen through.

I should clarify that both photos are from our balconies on Princess ships.
flamomo Posted April 30, 2018 #7 Share Posted April 30, 2018 The balcony panels on most Princess ships, including the Crown, are clear plexiglass that is tinted blue, and is topped with a teak railing.
