Breakaway's April TA. What island was that? Day before Ponta Delgada.

On April's TA we saw a small island about 1 mile off the STBD side (South) mid day the day before we arrived at Ponta Delgada. It looked flat & had some small buildings on it. Anyone know the name of it? Is it part of the Azores?

No, this looked like a small island that was almost flat. Unless it was much further than it seemed.

Did you happen to photograph the island? If so, you might want to check into your camera's features. Mine geo-codes all photos...I can open them up on my PC and it will show me on a map exactly where I was when the photo was taken. Might allow you to identify the island that way.
