champagne123 Posted May 19, 2018 #4 Share Posted May 19, 2018 We had SEVEN Alpha's called on our cruise last year. Medical emergencies happen everywhere and at anytime.
cruisegirl1 Posted May 19, 2018 #5 Share Posted May 19, 2018 Yes-we hear an ALPHA call on most every cruise. On our past two cruises, we watched a medical evacuation from the ship to some sort of coast guard boat. M
ONECRUISER Posted May 19, 2018 #6 Share Posted May 19, 2018 We had SEVEN Alpha's called on our cruise last year. Medical emergencies happen everywhere and at anytime. Agree, regular Alpha'a pretty common. Then on one cruise(11nite) last year had 2 that required us to speed up to next Port and one stay late in a Port. Of course I long cruises, 10/11/12/16/17 nite cruises that have an older crowd. But sailing out in North Atlantic high waves and all we had old and young suffer broke bones... sergeant655 Posted May 19, 2018 #10 Share Posted May 19, 2018 On Navigators recent there were 5 ambulances that met the ship including 2 at the same port. I have heard at least 1 alpha call per cruise . Even heard one in the middle of a crew drill Which I didn’t know was real until the ambulance showed up
