Just finished Alaska Inside Passage (Glaicer Bay) on Ruby

Your room were close to the elevator? Would that cause a lot noise? I am checking on the possible cruise date and some rooms are near elevators. Have concern if I should pick any room nearby though.

 

 

NO worries about noise on Caribe deck, closer to elevator means less walikng in the hallway and some of those walks from cabins are loooooong....

 

Now on other decks like Lido there might be noise if a lot of people are gathering in front of the elevators an waiting but definitely no noise at all from the elevators themselves.

 

We were starboard, but next time I would select port....In Glacier bay the ship does turn around if u are staying on your balcony, so everyone has a view......

Thank you for the post. Booked next May on the Ruby. The food looks much better than on the Regal last December. First couple of days were great, then it became Shoney's.

The dining room served fried chicken one day. You can pair wagfle with fried chicken yourself. [emoji16]

Doing an early May cruise next year to Alaska on Ruby. Other than flight excursions cancellations were there any issues with sailing in the early season?
