Little jimmy Posted May 28, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 28, 2018 When we land at airport, I'm assuming we collect our luggage, find the Norwegian cruises rep to be transfered to the port, what happens then, I have no idea what to expect. Do I have to complete forms or should I have already done this, do we then go onto ship and have to check in at reception. How long is it till cases usually arrive. many thanks for any information. getting so excited now. Rare shof515 Posted May 28, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 28, 2018 which port? not all airports have a NCL rep there. and in most ports you have to find your own transportation from the airport to the port

Yes, after identifying and collecting your luggage(and going through customs), you will find a NCL rep, with a sign, waiting in or after baggage pickup. At this time, place your NCL tags (with cabin number) on your cases. The NCL shuttle rep will take care of the rest; that's what they are paid for, so ask questions. I assume you are going directly to the Port and not staying a night in Rome. Large cases will be delivered to your cabin within a few hours of your transfer. Take a carry-on. At the Port, check in at reception then, get on the ship, and relax. BTW, if you knew what to expect, it would all be rather boring. cb at sea Posted May 28, 2018 #5 Share Posted May 28, 2018 The actual "checking in" is like checking into a hotel....ID and payment and they hand you your keys!
