Princess Landmark Sale - Just for fun - How will you spend your OBC?

You don't. OBC can't be used in casino.

Since when...I was on the Ruby 2 weeks ago....? If you charge casino play to your cabin, it's covered with OBC....nice thing about Princess they do not charge a % when you charge to your cabin like some other CLs do.

Cash out at the casino...go to a machine, put cruise card in the slot, set up a password, have an amount charged to your cabin, then cash it out....receive a voucher take it to the cage get your money....

You do have to put some play on your card or face the stern disapproval of the casino manager. To quote one, "This isn't an ATM."

I still don't consider it "play money" either way. It's cold hard cash since it comes out of my pocket.

Maybe. I booked a South Seas cruise when there was a nice chunky OBC offered (and prepaid grats). The current sale price is almost precisely what we paid, but there's no OBC or gratuities.

So in this case, I get to look at that 1000 buck difference as found money, since I booked at the right time. Had I booked today, those gratuities would indeed be coming out of my pocket.

But then, I'm quite content not to stare at a gift horse's teeth.

This is a great idea. I didn't know you could do this. [emoji4]

I already used some of it for excursions. My wife will use some for the salon. The rest will be on drinks, and maybe a specialty restaurant. I would normally get the drink package, but on our last Princess cruise, the drinks were very reasonable, so I skipped that.

First cover the gratuities and then pay for ship excursions. The new OBC from the landmark sale are nice.

Same. It will be interesting with only a few ports on our TA to FLL but will sure it will be gone. We had so much OBC after using a FCD that we rolled that to another cruise. We still have about $1,310 in OBC. That should work!

Sounds great! I didn't know you could do this with OBC! Have a great cruise!
