Really, really dumb question about Haven bartender tipping!

I've tipped my favorite bartenders, Haven and non-Haven, randomly throughout the cruise and at the end. If I spend some time in the evening in the Haven lounge, will likely leave 5 or so at the end of the night. We've tipped throughout the week in Posh, 5 one day maybe 10 the next. The only thing I don't like about waiting until the end of the cruise is you might not see that individual that morning. I've tipped 60 to my favorite Vibe bartender since he made the cruise so special, but gave it to him the last sea day.

I agree, I still would have received the same great service if I didn't tip, but I was raised in a family of tippers and I was just brought up that it was something you do. One area though that it definitely gets you better service is in the casino. After a few tips, those servers will make sure your drink never goes empty the whole week.

I already tipped 20%. If you want more, earn it! Then, gladly I will throw another 5% for outstanding service.

Well, since I only joined a month ago, I dont really know what I’m doing, but your tone makes it seem that you are annoyed that I commented? Am I misreading you?

So for our upcoming cruise, I'm sure the various bars will be fairly crowded. I've read where a tip to the bartender early on ensures outstanding service. That's cool, I'm glad to do that. The question is - how do you do this if there are multiple bartenders, it gets expensive! We're going to be in the Haven, are there only a couple of bartenders? Do we tip each one at the beginning, and is there then an expectation for a daily and end of cruise tip? What's a reasonable tip range? thanks.

Just so you are aware there is NO dedicated Haven Bar on the Jade, nor dedicated Haven restaurant one of the reasons I don't book a Haven on a jewel class ship
