re-reading this thread. One thing I haven't done, may indicate a level of luck. Never have I missed a port. That includes 5 stops at Coco Cay! It also includes 2 stops at Labadee when it was a tender port, and 2 stops at Grand Caymen. The closest we came to missing a port was Costa Maya, and I remember enjoying the story of why we ALMOST missed it. At that time Jewel usually docked on the protected side of the pier at Costa Maya. That day a new Disney ship Disney Fantasy was to make her first call there and the captain asked for the protected side. We docked, but the waves on the ocean side, but the waves were rough enough that they threatened to wash away the gangway. (We were waiting just around the corner and saw the waves coming in. ) We pulled back out and circled awhile. After an hour we docked on the protected side and were ashore.

Later that night at the Crown and Anchor event, the Captain said that they considered making it a Sea Day, but Disney was not due in port till 3pm that day and the conditions were going to improve. He said that he called the Disney Captain and told him to "grow a pair" and he was taking the protected side with his smaller ship. So I am still 100% at making ports.

In 2017, it was a beautiful day on Coco Cay, but it started getting rough. It was difficult getting back on board Majesty, but not that bad, it did give me a good idea of why they cancel. I didn't see anyone on that trip in a wheel chair, that would have made for a difficult boarding under those conditions.

I have never:

Stayed in any type of suite cabin

Tried the flow-rider

Ate at a specialty restaurant

Had any sort of spa treatment except acupuncture once

Remained onboard the ship while at a port

Played at any of the tables in the casino

Taken a cruise I disliked

I always

Use the ship gym

Take every free dance class offered

Do most, if not all, of the shore excursions independently

Go crazy with so many desserts available & gain weight
