pe4all Posted June 29, 2018 #202 Share Posted June 29, 2018 How was the Belize hospital? Was it in Belize City? Sent from my SM-N950U using Forums mobile app They took us to the "private" hospital - not the city hospital. It was very close to the port. The equipment was antiquated (example - to draw blood they put a needle in dd's wrist and let the blood drip into a test tube - no tubing!!) but the care was exceptional. Except for the machine-gun armed guard on the steps of the hospital and the tiny size of the facility, and the fact that they took our passports and wouldn't return them until dd was deemed "fit to travel" it was fine. I wanted to go to a local store down the street to buy some toiletries, and they wouldn't let me go as it was too dangerous - they sent a person to buy the stuff for me!
