Hello, this is our 5th cruise in 10 years....Departing Sat on Allure....Did RCC change the dress code? I am planning on wearing pants and a jacket on formal night....are shorts (dress type) allowed in the dining room? Thanks very much....

Truth be, there is no dress "code" anymore. Just suggestions which many people ignore and wear whatever they want. It's a shame, but that's what it has come to lately.

They only “suggest” an attire for the night. We were recently on the Allure and the guys in shorts sat next to the guys in tuxes. Which, as far as we were concerned, was perfectly fine.

Anythings goes now except men wearing sleeveless shirts. On the last cruise I witnessed the dinning staff not let a man in wearing a sleeveless shirt.
