Rare teacherman Posted June 18, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2018 We are D+ and will receive a gift of wine. We asked that it be delivered to our cabin. If we decide to take the bottle to the dining room, or a specialty restaurant, will they open it for us? If so, will there be a corkage fee? What if we open it in the room and then take it to dinner? Our choice was delivered to the cabin but we could have chosen dining room delivery. Any information/advice is welcome. This will be on Adventure of the Seas next week. Thank you. Ken at the beach Posted June 18, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 18, 2018 No corkage fees on the D+ wine no matter where you drink it or who opens it.
heatherb1958 Posted June 18, 2018 #3 Share Posted June 18, 2018 You should receive a card with the delivery in your cabin. To save any confusion we always take that with us if using our wine in the dining room or elsewhere. We used to always have our wine delivered to the dining room but changed it back to the cabin delivery.

cruisegirl1 Posted June 18, 2018 #6 Share Posted June 18, 2018 Having it sent to the cabin was a good choice. Having it sent to the dining room often seems to be an issue with us, Staff don't know what I am taking about, someone has to look for it, and it usually comes when we are halfway done dinner. If you want, and if you didn't finish the bottle, you can leave the bottle in the dining room for another night, or carry it back to the cabin. cheers and enjoy M
