I have cruised on several lines but not RC. An upcoming Adventure of the seas seems to fit our plans, but i have a few questions after doing some research. Is there really a $ 7.99 charge for room service? That seems a high, considering it was free on the other lines.

Yes, there is a $7.95 charge per order, except for some continental breakfast items in the morning.

That's what I thought, but no 18% on RS for suites. I guess 18% of zero is zero

What are snack options not counting the buffets?

Just got off Ovation, we ordered room service breakfast, cereal, coffee, toast, juice, yoghurt and fruit, all free, just cost us a tip for the person who delivered it.

Since your last cruise. As John said no RS charge for suites.

Right, the continental portion of breakfast menu is still free.

It was rolled out to various ships over a couple of month last spring (2017).

Depends what ship you are on. On the Oasis class ships there are multiple locations to get food and drinks besides the MDR and buffet.
