Love your review.

I live in College Place, WA probably not far from where you live.

Have you met Hotel Director Steven Jacobsen, Food and Beverage Director Claus Pascher or Guest Services Manager Jose Piedra yet. They are all friends of mine.

We're a couple weeks behind you going the other way. Hoping your picture's will hold me over till I get to take a few of my own. More than likely it will just make me want to speed up the clock a bit.

We had planned to go to the Klondike Gold Rush Historical Park - Seattle unit in Pioneer Square. Unfortunately, we got into Downtown late, and chose to head directly to Pike Place Market. If we had been able to go you would have seen this:

These pictures were taken in May 2016. They have you follow the journey of individuals on their way to the Klondike. The National Park tells their story as you work your way through the Museum.

At the end they have a Wheel to spin, to try your luck.

I highly encourage anyone going to Alaska to visit here before sailing, especially if leaving from Seattle and visiting Skagway. Skagway has 3 additional Klondike Gold Rush Historical Park units. These are Skagway, Dyea, and the trail.
