In October of 2005, i took Susan on a date night to the waterfront. We had dinner at the Red Robin on Pier 55 and then took a ride on the Washington State Ferry to Bainbridge Island and back to Seattle. On the trip back into Seattle, in the pouring down rain (So Seattle for you), I proposed to Susan just under the bridge. The ferry boat Tacoma will always have special meaning to us. I called an Uber to pick us up. a lovely downpour it was! We got dropped off at my compass in Downtown Seattle: Nordstrom's Flagship Store! We headed downstairs to the Metro level and headed to the Nordstrom Grill. The Menu Everyone except Susan got the Crab Bisque. An early morning awaited us, as we were catching the morning train to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. -- With that I will call it a night. I had an extremely long day at work and I am exhausted. A while later, Susan headed upstairs and took a few pictures from the balcony. The station has gotten considerably busier. the restored original ceilings. Jenny and Jenner settled in! We finally get started Northbound. Through the tunnel, we emerge on the Waterfront near Pier 66. The Norwegian Pearl is in Seattle today.
