On Sat. April 8th at 10 PM EST 48 Hours will be doing a show on George Smith. Will probably be much of the same but you never know. Last night's show on Natalee Holloway provided me with info. I've never heard before so maybe George's show will also give us something new.

but this is for the bus accident killing Celebrity cruisers that didn't book a Celebrity excursion but a private one. So again he is getting very bad press, losing plenty of money, as he isn't making a penny from the Smiths. Did this guy really graduate from law school or was it one of those great online academies. He has no idea what he is doing & this is ready for Comedy Channel!

This attorney that George III & Maureen Smith hired seems to be bottom of the class. Ambulance Chaser fits for him whether a ship or on wheels. When he heard about the accident & then Fox News released the names of deceased & all from same city in NJ, he got their faimilies with promises of millions at 50% for him for his work times 12 families. Problem is he can't sue RCCL since it wasn't their approved excursion. This was some online quote of fabulous comfort in a Mercedes van, see the wonderful views from Mountains of the area. On & on and their synagogue booked it for them. He lived, but now has no job as his ride is gone & he has no insurance. GOOD LUCK ON THE LAWSUIT ............

 

All I can logically say to the 12 families is I hope they all bought travel insurance.

Ok, there is still something that bothers me about this and I didn't see it addressed and I thought that some other female would have caught this. In the RCI statement that was put out. They found her in the hall. She was taken to her room and placed on the bed. She then got up with only a few hours sleep after a long night and without showering or changing clothes she went to the spa 2 hours early? In the RCI statement they stated that they gave her a change of clothes (that she complained about) because she was still in her clothes from the night before? Who does that? If I've slept in my clothes for ANY reason the first thing I do when I wake up is at least brush my teeth and change into FRESH CLEAN clothes! Especially if I had on night clothes that I partied in all night. Sorry to keep this thread going but it's really bothering me!

It does seem out of character for her and there has been no explanation anywhere that I have seen.

I can only think that she wanted George to be jealous in thinking that she hadn't come back to the cabin that night. First he sees of her is at the spa and he assumes she slept out. It would have worked if he was alive. This plays into the casino manager flirt theory which is already included in this thread.

I think she was given some other drug in addition to the huge quantity of alcohol she consumed that night. Or, it might have just been the alcohol. She sounded pretty wacked-out from the descriptions of her condition and behavior that morning.

And like I said earlier, even when I was younger I at least, even hung over, changed my clothes when I woke up, she didn't. And then to just show up 2 hours early for a massage? You KNOW what you look like and ....ummm....smell like on a normal morning, but after a night of heavy partying and being in a smoky casino you KNOW what THAT smells like! After watching 5 shows on my TIVO from last night, I ended up chocking on a BBQ chicken sandwich half from dinner last night that I was having for breakfast watching TV. Everyone had basically the same show on 5 of them from Holloway, the dead minister's wife, etc.

 

But Greta & her 4 guest attorneys, one from Kevorkian trial named Jeff. She aired the story of a missing male college student who is one great looking blonde haired guy. His roommate happened to phone his home when he didn't come home in 3 nights, looking for him & alerted his parents who hadn't heard from him in 4 days. So they phoned police as did the roommate. The place was dusted, all clean but the dumpster in the backyard had blood on the gravel on the side of it & inside on one side also had blood. So DNA is waiting on it to see if it is his. But the Sheriff put a call out to the land fill to search for a body so machinery digging up last loads & cops going thru it all.

 

Jeff tells Greta that college guys love to freak their girlfriends who just broke up with them by slicing their arm & bleeding all over to make it look like a murder. Greta comments" like George Smith did?" That is when I choked on my sandwich.

 

Then later she has Holloway case back on with a TV show filming the story of the 18 year old American who with her graduating class partied in Aruba. Last night she disappears. So they have Palco's Honda, clothes identical to what Natalee wore that night for the long blonde hair actress. It will air in Netherlands, Aruba & maybe USA. Similar to our America's Most Wanted. From what police got that will be the storyline. They are hoping it will trigger someone who knows something. But 10 months ago??? Again Jeff mentions that it is a long shot & over 10 months on folks who are drunk, will have little memory of anything. The new photos of Natalee on the dance floor with male arm around her but no ID. So all the attorney are commenting on the photo, why it took 10 months to show up, what else is out there? Then the 3 are mocking out the mess Aruba police have done & comparing it to Turkish police with the George Smith case. Again I could have choked but I was no eating when this comment was made.

 

But they are right! Right now Smith family is on the phone to have the story filmed for a TV movie to find the killer. I know America's Most Wanted doesn't want it. The FBI is making it look like suicide. No mention of anything in 9 months! And I think TV Saturday with 48 hours won't do much more.

Here's my theory. I wonder if Jennifer locked George on the balcony because she was mad at him. Then she sees him trying to climb over the rail with the chair and she sees him fall. She runs out in the hall because she is scared or is trying to get help but passes out. The crew carries her back to her room. The next morning she wakes up, suddenly realizes what has happened last night and she just wants to get out of the room ASAP and of course does not change her clothes.

Just amazing that 9 months gives a baby to a couple, but FBI can't get their act together, or there is NO MURDER, George is out there somewhere.

Saw a preview on Greta's show last night. 48 Hours promises to have never before seen video of the Russians and a very revealing reaction by Rusty Kofman. I believe they said the video was taken by Josh's father but I'm not positive about that.

 

It looks to be good and worth watching!!!

This may not be a new video. If it's the one taken with a hidden camera while the young man was being interviewed by the Turkish police, they showed it on one of the TV news programs last year. His Mom had the camera in her purse.

As I posted on another thread on this subject:

 

"They said they filmed it on a sister ship, so I assume it was the Radiance.

 

Josh was so upset during his interview at the Turkish police station because he KNEW Jennifer was not in the room. He even said on the tape that she was with another man.

 

I think George was by himself after the 4 men left. Only three were seen walking down the hallway, because one of them was in front of the others. Four would not fit across the hallway.

 

George cut himself in the cabin and used the towel to soak up the blood. The investigator said it was a small amount of blood on a towel, the bed and the floor.

 

I think he slipped through the curtains, opened the door, went out on the balcony, pulled the chair up to the railing, and sat backward to smoke his cigar (which he had done before on the cruise).

 

Then the ship pitched, he went over backwards, got badly cut on the fall, tried to push himself up, and then slid overboard. The puddle of blood in the middle of the blood stain is where he lay for awhile, probably stunned or temporarily unconscious, and then slipped overboard.

 

It was an accident.

 

Jennifer was supposedly helped down to her deck by another bar staffer, not Lloyd. His room key shows he was in his cabin by the time she left.

 

I agree with the above poster: these people were very drunk, in a dark place, and might not have been able to piece it all together right.

 

Sad situation, and his family just won't accept the accident theory."
