I would like to know if RCCL is using Seapass Cards or Wrist bands to make purchases or get in the cabin. I saw these bands on YouTube.

SeaPass cards can be used on all ships to make purchases and open the stateroom door.

 

Some ships also have Wow bands available as an option.

As mentioned by Ken above, Anthem (a Quantum class ship) offers the WOW bands as an option. I believe they are around $5 and can be obtained at Guest Services onboard.

Guest services will not do it. You could do it yourself if you know where the chip and wires are.

Guest services won’t punch the cards? I thought they did it for us on our last cruise-though it was 2 years ago and maybe things changes?

The answer was in relation to ships using RFID cards. Ships using the magnetic stripe will still punch the cards.

Used WOW bands on HOTS in May. They are $5.00 each. The ship had a limited amount of them at the time, so if you want one, get it once you are aboard.

The seapass card will still be needed for getting on and off the ship, as the WOW bands do not work for that!

They are all the same size.

Usually they have a table set up as you board the ship or at guest services.
