Beachers Closed?

Does anyone know if Beachers is closed/under new management?

 

My last email has not been answered and now I see their website is redirecting.

Oh dear, this is potentially bad news...they were the best day package in Roatan.

 

What address did you use? I have Emil's card for his Real Estate business.

I'll try and reach him there for info, and will report back.

Looks like the redirect is for a general web server/url, connected to real estate agents and vacation booking sites. But I didn't see any listing for Beachers.

That website, RoatanNet.com, was one of the original info sites for Roatan. It has been around for ages.

 

Beachers has a Facebook page, perhaps message through it for more info.

Exactly -- with any luck they are still in business, and just decided not to pay for the domain name anymore and the other site bought it.

Yes, that is how I reached him a few days ago-

He replied the next day that all is well, nothing has changed at Beachers, and that my chair would be waiting for me.

 

Not planning a trip for a while, but comforting to know.

 

I did ask for another booking email since I did not want to use his personal address here, but he has not replied yet, and you already outed him, so, hopefully by now he has replied to you.

Agree that they just did not keep the website up.

 

The "official" FB page has nothing new since 2017, but there is what looks to be a fan page with some recent reviews and photos. No info to contact the actual restaurant/bar, tho.
