Wave12 Posted July 24, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 24, 2018 We are cruising on Pacific Eden in November which departs from White Bay Terminal. Could someone help as to whether the Terminal is easily accessible by taxi coming from the airport? We are thinking of staying in Sydney the night before - any ideas of where to stay nearby in a nice hotel? Thank you in anticipation.
GUT2407 Posted July 24, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 24, 2018 Really nothing near white Bay in terms of hotels or anything, it’s a bit of a trip by Taxi but certainly accessible. The terminal isn’t too bad, the infrastructure sucks, one positive is you sail 7nder the bridge, s9mething I havent done for years,
The_Big_M Posted July 24, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 24, 2018 Just choose to stay based on where you prefer; it's not that far by taxi either from the city or airport, so find a hotel that suits you and then going there is pretty straightforward. Rare MMDown Under Posted July 24, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 24, 2018 There is a nice selection of hotels nearby at Darling Harbour (Novotel and Ibis), if you are only looking for a bed overnight.
rossip Posted August 6, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 6, 2018 We caught the ferry from Darling Harbour - $9 each - was a nice start to our cruise
Soldiers118 Posted August 14, 2018 #6 Share Posted August 14, 2018 If you caught the ferry from Darling Harbour what was the Wharf Number or was it just near the old wharf 8? Did you park at the shopping centre on the P&O deal and where do you get the paperwork?

Soldiers118 Posted August 16, 2018 #8 Share Posted August 16, 2018 Thanks for the advice. We will drive down the day before and stay at Ibis King Street Wharf. No risk then from delay on M1
