Tender in kotor

We are on the star in a few weeks and was wondering what the likelihood of us docking v tendering.

If we do tender is there a long wait like I've heard in Santorini

Soggy - Assuming the tender/dockside decision is based on overall passenger/ship volume in port that day, use this site to get an idea of what other ships will be in port that day:

The link doesn't appear to be accurate. My ship does not appear on the day that we will be in Kotor.

Reading their calendar I see NCL Star docking on August 28 and September 25.

Tendering on September 3, September 10 and September 17.

when tendering in Kotor, it's a short hop to the docking point. Exit the tender, walk through the gate, cross the road (make sure you use the crossing) and you are right in the centre of town. Although I have been there on a number of occasions, it remains one of my favourite places to visit on a Med cruise. The journey into and out of Kotor is stunning so don't miss it. We left one visit at midnight and the views were equally as stunning as in daylight. All the lights were twinkling and I think the whole ship was out watching. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

We tendered on the Star 10 July but this shows docking. We heard there is (was?) an issue with an underwater obstruction at the dock so even if this shows planned docking you may still tender.

 

when tendering in Kotor, it's a short hop to the docking point. .

 

We anchored way out in the bay and had a 30 min tender ride!
