Tell me about Halloween on Royal Caribbean

Recommended Posts

We did one Halloween cruise on HAL and two on RCL, both on the Allure. We give HAL a score of 6 and the Allure 10+. The decorations, the costume parades ( an adult one and a child one), the show put on in the Promenade before the parades, plus the Haunted House will blow your mind.

Definitely agree with the Geezer. We were on the indy last year and it was pretty good. The year before we were on the Allure transatlantic. Easily hundreds of guests dressed in full costume the entire day, promenade parade and costume party were top notch. Several hundred in line for the haunted house, to long a line for me and I went back to the Diamond lounge. Hope your is enjoyable. And for those who say no trick or treating for kids, you are wrong. Several dozen kids being led around by kids club staff getting treats from the Promenade and Boardwalk shops. happy Halloween

Done 5 Halloween's on Royal ships inc 2 on Brilliance. On Brilliance about 1/4 dress up and will have a Costume contest followed by a Halloween dance in Centrum. Not much in decorations, no Haunted House, not as many kids as would on Oasis Class. One cruise had about 10 another 25-30...

We have the Brilliance booked for Halloween and just like to know how RCCL does on Halloween, have cruised HAL, Carnival, Princess on Halloween and believe it or not, HAL was the best!

When is halloween? (Dane here)

Will it start many weeks before?

Wow, that sounds like fun! I hope they‘ll have a haunted house on Harmony for our Oct. 27 cruise.

Where did they build the haunted house?

We were on Oasis last Halloween and absolutely loved it. Many, including my dh and I, wore our costumes to dinner. I spend a lot of time in the casino and probably half the players wore costumes which really encouraged interaction. DH went to the parade and said it was great. We already had a transatlantic booked for this year but will search for a cruise next Halloween.
