Spa Question please

First time Carnival Cruiser. Besides the specialty spa treatment options, does Carnival offer any type of spa usage or experience for the length of the cruise....Perhaps specialty hot tubs, saunas and steam rooms and often have a quite relaxation area only for pass holders.. that are only accessed thru a "package or pass"...on other ships they can be purchased by the day or the length of the cruise. We are sailing on the Glory...and 1st want to know if this is an option and 2nd...is it worth it. Thanks so much

The Dream class ships, Dream, Magic and Breeze, have an incredible Cloud 9 Spa.

A limited number of passes are sold ship-wide, and two people in each spa cabin are allowed unlimited access for the duration of the cruise. Of course spa cabins include an upcharge over other like cabins.

Edited to add for us, totally worth booking a spa cabin on Dream class ships.

Cloud 9 Spa, with passes and extra amenities, is not available on the Glory. It's a great ship, though!

Thank you very much. Are you saying that unless you are booked in a spa/cabin you are not allowed to use the special saunas/whirl pool hot tubs inside the spa...whow that seems strange.

You can buy a pass for the spa area if you are not in a spa cabin. Access to the spa area is included with a spa cabin.

Other ships that have the Cloud 9 Spa area are Horizon, Vista, Sunshine and Splendor.

Ok, that sounds more reasonable. Thanks for explaining.Do you know if it is something I can prepurchase or do we have to wait until we board? Are the extra amenities worth it....do they any special thermal pool? TIA

If you are travelling on a ship with a Cloud 9 spa but are not in a spa class cabin, you can pre-purchase (and probably should because only a limited number of passes are sold). I don't know about other Carnival ships but Dream class ships have a thelassotherapy pool included, as well as multiple steam rooms , saunas, showers, etc.

Yes to both of your questions, but unfortunately Glory does not have a Cloud 9 Spa.
