QTPieRye Posted August 22, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 22, 2018 Has anyone ever used a small wagon to board ship? It's not my first choice; however, I need to get my scuba gear onto the ship, along with small other carry-on items and it will be difficult without assistance. I have a small collapsing wagon that would easily slide under the bed when not in use. I also have a umbrella type stroller that I could easily strap my scuba gear to and put the soda underneath. Homosassa Posted August 22, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 22, 2018 Check Carnival's FAQs. You will find that a wagon can not be used to board or disembark the ship.
Rare Essiesmom Posted August 22, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 22, 2018 Perhaps not, but I have seen people onboard using them to ferry their children instead of a stroller. EM
mulewagon Posted August 23, 2018 #4 Share Posted August 23, 2018 Use a wheely walker. My mother has one, but she does wheelchair assist. So while they're wheeling her up I stack our carryons on the seat and roll it all up the ramp.
crookedhalo Posted August 23, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 23, 2018 DH uses a wheeled duffel bag for his dive gear and then checks it through with any other luggage. Easy as can be.
QTPieRye Posted August 23, 2018 Author #6 Share Posted August 23, 2018 Thank you everyone! I am gonna ditch the wagon idea and go with a carry-on duffle with wheels.
