People opinions on Norwegian Jade?

2 questions about the Unlimited Beverage Package, and the Free at Sea. Am I crazy, or am I seeing that the cost of the unlimited beverage package is now $99 a day? I saw this on the NCL site. If you take the Free at Sea, do they charge you the gratuity based on what the UBP would be, or for whatever you order?

They charge you the gratuity based upon the total $99 per day per person.  For the 8 day cruise we just home from the beverage service charge was $284 for two.  That was based on the $89 per day charge for the package.

If the UBC is an option with free at sea, I always pick it first. Lastvcruisecwe did a guaranty room, so no free at sea package. Since it was port intensive that wasn’t with 💰 ng 89/99 pp (w tax $110pp/pd). But we did buy drink nod ... ended up about $10 -15,perverink, with beer at low end
