Coffee bar is $ extra, but are tge snacks?

I know you pay more for the coffee and specialty drinks, but do you pay for the snacks they serve?

Yes, the cakes, cookies etc are an extra charge, but they are no more than a couple bucks and the cake slices are huge and delicious! We get one piece and share.

Yes, the snacks are extra, however, nothing more then $1.99 or $2.49 if I remember correctly. I got a piece of Blue Velvet cake for $1.99. It was HUGE and it took both my wife and myself to finish it.

Most of the time they do have some of the small danishes (like on the Lido deck buffet and room service) that are free in the mornings.

Anything on top of the pastry case is complementary. I get a chocolate croissant every morning.

The for sale cakes are way better than the ones on lido. Huge, enough for 2. We always indulge.

The ones for sale on the Horizon looked very similar in quality to the ones on Lido in the new section that had about six varieties each day.

They were sliced by a server to your specifications in case you wanted thin slices of various flavors to try. Can honestly say they were the best buffet desserts I have had on my 32 cruises. Can't compare though to Grand Marnier Souffle. ;p
