We are in a full suite for the first time. The wait staff at Sabatini's breakfast has been wonderful' date=' and we want to give them something extra at the end of the cruise. Can someone give me some guidelines for doing this?[/quote']

Tipping is personal. Everyone is different as you can see from post #2 who I would venture to say has not experienced the Sabatinis breakfast.

We usually give $10 plus or so per.

Honestly, it varies depending upon the length of the cruise. $20 for a week for each of the staff there, for us, is a good rule of thumb, but we are not blindly stuck on that. There might be one or two of the waitstaff who take care of you most of the time, or for us, whoever is doing the barista work, who we feel deserve something extra, someone we've struck up quite a relationship with, lots of variables. We had one waiter who absolutely delighted in making my standard first course - berries and sliced banana, a work of art each morning, each one quite charming and quite unique. You just never know who is going to go out of their way to delight you at Sabatini's, but someone absolutely will.

Three times actually, or 18 times to be precise

You can also write them up in the you make a difference cards plus in the survey after the cruise. We also had the most amazing staff when we stayed in a suite last December. We did the cards as well as wrote everyone a thank you note with the extra tucked inside.

You paid a whole lot extra for the suite and in that higher fare was factored Sabitini breakfast. If you leave yor auto gratuity intact you paid significantly more gratuity there too. The service is supposed to be elevated, that's what you already paid 4 times more then other cabins. Now you want to know how much more to tip? I don't tip again for the mimosa breakfast, I already paid dearly for the suite.
