Josy1953 Posted September 17, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2018 We just got out cabin number for our cruise in June 2020, exactly what we wanted to be on the ship. Hope everyone else is as lucky.

L751 Posted September 17, 2018 #4 Share Posted September 17, 2018 Hi are you all top tier, because they are saying not on sale until Wednesday we pre booked with p & o not heard anything yet, do you think we should ring them today
annieuk Posted September 17, 2018 #5 Share Posted September 17, 2018 Yes I would think we are all top tier. We got our first choice this morning too - with a TA, not P&O direct.

majortom10 Posted September 17, 2018 #7 Share Posted September 17, 2018 You can only book today if you are Caribbean Tier and higher the rest become bookable on Wednesday.
Scorpio41 Posted September 17, 2018 #8 Share Posted September 17, 2018 We were 9 days away from gold when they changed the rules and doubled the number of days needed. We are now 11 days away from Caribbean hoping they don't change them again. :(

jeanlyon Posted September 17, 2018 #10 Share Posted September 17, 2018 Both cruises on Arcadia booked today with our usual TA with exactly the cabins we wanted, for our single friend too. I do think this 5% deposit is a great idea, because if you do have to cancel, it's not a lot of money and don't think travel insurance would cover the deposit that far ahead. also, the first cruise turned out to be less money than we thought. yippee! Rare DamianG Posted September 18, 2018 #12 Share Posted September 18, 2018 We had our booking confirmed by our TA yesterday & got the suite (D102) on Britannia that we wanted. We haven't been able to afford a suite in school holiday time previously but thanks to the reduced child fairs this will be a one-off treat and we're hoping it will more than compensate for the things we dislike about the bigger ships. It's a long way off but definitely something to look forward to. Thanks again to everyone who has provided advice on suites on this forum.
