Panoramic rooms get benefits of Grand suite?

I'm not following this article I just read. It looks doesn't make sense to me. I will add a link. If I'm reading this correctly doesn't this screw over Junior suite passengers?

I have one of these booked for Mariner next year. Assumed it would be akin to a JS but this would be a pleasant surprise.

I just booked the VO on the Grandeur. I spoke to 2 RCL reps, one on Facebook and one over the phone, and also my TA confirmed it as well...

 

The VO Ocean View Suite, room 8000, gets full suite benefits as of 9/10/2018.

The article also says the VO suite on Grandeur without a balcony and is 535 sq ft is also being converted to a full suite. We have a 592 sq ft VT suite on Jewel and I am crossing my fingers they change those as well. It just doesn't have a balcony so that's why they didn't make it a full suite. Silly.
