Back in 2008 we sailed on Sovereign with a First Officer Philip. Then in 2016 I was on Enchantment and he was the Staff Captain. I  wonder if it's the same guy!

Captain Ervin is on Voyager

According to his X/Twitter, Captain Johnny picked up his Harley in Galveston and drove it to Florida last month. I don't have any way to know, but I expect we'll see him appear on one of the Florida based ships at some point if he's going to return, and I can't help but think that he will.

He's also removed Harmony from his Twitter bio so he's definitely not going back there! I agree that he'll be on a Florida ship (likely an Oasis Class or Icon Class).

We just got off the Odyssey on Sunday and Capt Marek Slaby was our captain. We met him and he was wonderful. Very down to earth and very easy to talk to. We loved listening to his announcements in the morning and he would call out all birthdays on board. Was a special treat since it was my husband's birthday during the cruise. Since we were on the ship on April 1, the Captain decided to make a little April Fool's joke and told us that our next port of Aruba was unfortunately cancelled. I panicked and starting thinking of our excursions that we had booked (not with the ship) and started getting phone numbers and emails to call the vendors! haha after a few minutes, he told us ha! April Fools! I let out a big relief and deleted all my emails I started to write. Great sense of humor, we loved him!

We were on a star bridge tour on Harmony in December and someone asked. The officer doing the tour said he was going to Utopia. Take it for what it is worth.

Hope he's healthy and able to return to sea.  Maybe Star of the Seas, Icon's sister that deploys next year.  

I checked his Twitter and there's a video of alligator crossing their path during a golf game -- labeled "snack time" -- don't know if its for the golfers or the gator.  🤣
