Carnival Stock Down

Morgan Stanley analyst just came out with the report that the cruise industry will slow into the 4th quarter (Carnival just reported higher earnings ) & higher fuel costs (both the cruise industry & airline industry hedge their fuel costs into the future contracts )

Personally ,I think this temporary dip represents a good buy into this stock .also ,Carnival corp has issued a huge buy back of their stock ;which means less shares on the open market

You can google today : Why has Carnival stock gone down . you can then read the reports

This is a stock that was $36/share in 2011, pays a dividend and pays on-board credit.

I own 100 shares which I bought at $36. Since then I have received $3,000 in on-board credit plus an annual dividend of $200.

If you are a regular cruiser with Seabourn then you should at least own 100 shares.

Morgan Stanley always come out with these outrageous reports when they want a share price to go down probably so they can tell their clients to buy more and when they go up their clients think, WOW.

They have been doing the same thing with 2 other company stocks I know of.

Excuse my ignorance, does the Carnival stock OBC apply even if Seabourn offers OBC as part of the fare deal? (like many of the current Seabourn promotions?)

Yes, we always get our Seabourn stock credit applied. It doesn't matter what other OBC we also have.
