PostcardJar Posted October 9, 2018 #1 Share Posted October 9, 2018 I searched the forum for this topic and didn't see anything...sorry if it has been covered. In checking in for our upcoming Edge cruise (woo-hoo!), I was asked to provide a security photo. I assume this replaces the photo taken at the pier. Does anyone know the requirements for this photo? Thanks in advance!
Rare Turtles06 Posted October 9, 2018 #2 Share Posted October 9, 2018 Well, that's new for Celebrity! If it's like RCI's requirements, pretty much like a passport photo -- head shot against a solid, neutral (preferably white) background, no hat, no sunglasses or anything else obscuring your face. The requirements should be on the web site -- I assume you've checked carefully or you would not have asked. Enjoy the Edge!
Luvcrusn Posted October 9, 2018 #3 Share Posted October 9, 2018 There have been many reports over the past couple of months that when people try to upload the photo while doing online check in they receive an error message. It isn't a requirement, so therefore it can't replace the one done at the pier. Also, you can do your check in at the pier without doing the online check in, it just takes longer. They are only asking for it (as a non-required field) on a few ships. I just did my check in for the Silhouette and wasn't asked for one.
