Princess Laundry Service

We are boarding the Caribbean Princess soon.....can anyone tell me what Princess charges for their laundry service?  Is it by the bag?

Don’t see by the bag specials much any more as last time was on the Coral last year. On the CB right now, and here is current laundry prices.

Very rarely do they have a fill the bag special for approx $20, that is usually advertised in the Patter.

By the bag is rarely offered on the shorter cruises. We see it some on the 30 or so day cruises. 

 

All passengers who are Elite in the Captain's Circle loyalty program get free laundry.

 

There are self service  washers and dryers on every floor

Princess has self-serve laundry on their ships.  Before becoming elite and qualifying for free laundry service, we did our own.

Pack a few detergent pods or powder in a ziplock bag, throw in a few dryer sheets, and have a roll of quarters ~ and you're set for laundry without any hassle.

pretty sure quarters are no longer used - you use your cruise card to get tokens out of the machine

 

PRO TIP - get your tokens early in your cruise if you are certain to use the laundry in case the token machines are out or out of service...otherwise it's a trip to customer service to get the tokens - or another flood where the token machines are working

How's the quality of their laundry service?  Is the "Regular Next Day Service" truly the next day when one's clean clothes are returned?

For Elites and the free service it usually turns into 3 plus days to get stuff returned because there are so many Elites on cruises now. Even in our suites without regular suite service it is usually delayed and we have not received it back in 24 hours.

We stopped using it because of the damage we sustained on clothing items over the years.

The high heat caused issues for us. I say if you use it don't send out anything expensive.
