back to back - start of second cruise

Question about turn around day between two back to back cruises. The cruise ends in Barcelona , docking at 6 AM and next cruise leaving at 7 PM. If one has the same cabin assignment for both cruises are you able to take a private tour and return to the ship without checking in a second time for the second cruise? When does the ship hold the boat drill for the second cruise? Any other things one needs to know about on that day?

we have not done it in BCN  but other ports  we go off for the day  & return in the afternoon  & just  walk on

As long  as you are back  about 90 mins prior to sailaway you should be fine  but check with the purser  before you leave on turnaround day

Muster is usually same time  on all the cruises  between 5-5:30 pm

We did this a year ago in Rome, went off on a private all day tour, got back before the muster drill at 5 or 5:30.  The ID for the first cruise was good for the second.  Your billing will carry over from the first to the second cruise.

If you are on an "extended journey" (single booking number), it's a day in port like any other (though you will need to go to the mister drill).

If it's a B2B (I.e., 2 booking numbers), check with guest relations to make sure everything does carryover.

In the latter case you will need a new card as the cards are dated. We are on a B2B with 2 different booking numbers; our cruise card is dated 10/26 till 11/2 (when the next cruise starts).
