I seem to recall reading post with some great tips right after  boarding ship. where to get lanyards, where to have ship cards laminated, etc. can anyone point me in the right direction? thanks!

Ship card comes laminated.

You can usually go to the casino and get a cheapy lanyard and they will punch a hole in your card.  Worked on all three lines I have sailed.

The card is plastic, like a credit card...doesn't need lamination...it's waterproof!
