Gator's Dockside at Port Canaveral now open

Local version of the Florida chain of family-friendly sports bars now open where Milliken's Reef used to be. (Just west of Rusty's, Fishlips and Grills)

Personally I am not over-excited. We have plenty of sports bars (Fishlips for example) already. Wings, ribs, burgers, etc are available everywhere. But if you like gator tail then OK. And it is family-friendly.

Since true waterfront restaurant/bars are a rarity in the area, I was hoping for a more unique kindof place with focus on views of cruise ships and Port with good live music.

The new place looks exactly like a cleaned-up Millken's without the beach sand but with large TVs everywhere inside.

Since I know the menu very well from the Orlando locations I did not eat there today but I will give them a few weeks to settle in.

Here are some pictures. Soon it will get colder and windier outside so I wonder what they will do at the small Tiki bar to offer some weather protection?
