This was probably the most challenging mini golf course we've played. The holes are designed after holes on courses in Bermuda, Scotland, and the US. A lot of fun.'

After dinner we all went to the casino to gamble a little bit. Jim, Pat, and I played blackjack and Patti tried her luck on the slots. All of us were losers tonight! After a walk around the ship we got back to the cabin around midnight.

Final Day in Burmuda  -  10/26/18.

 

Here are today’s Fun Times…..

 

 

 

 

We were up at 7am to a sunny day with the temperatures in the low 70’s. The sun is rising over the Great Sound…..

 

 

From our balcony we have a good view of the barge and crane that has been tied up next to the Pride since we arrived here two days ago. It will be here until just before we sail today at Noon……

 

 

The Serenade of the Seas left yesterday afternoon, so this morning the Disney Magic has arrived to take her berth. The Disney Magic is on a 5 day cruise from New York…..

We decided to skip breakfast today. Patti gets a couple bags of laundry together and hands them to our room steward Edwin. He says we should have them back tonight.

 

Patti is going to go back out to explore the Dockyard again today. My hip is still pretty sore today so I’m going to head to the Serenity hot tub for a few hours.

 

Patti has left the ship and immediately starts taking pictures. Here is a catamaran excursion loading up…..

I met Patti back in the cabin at Noon. We decided to watch our sail away from Bermuda from our balcony. We are sailing away from the Dockyard…..

After sail away Patti and I went up to the Lido and had our lunch. We chose the Asian fare at Chopsticks. It was very good as usual.

 

Patti was going to head to this afternoon’s bingo session, while I made my way up to meet the FB gang and play LCR. Jim met me up there.

 

Patti made it to the Taj Mahal for the very end of the Gender Showdown…..

 

 

Patti did not have any winners this afternoon. She was not a fan of Cheeky Charley…..

 

 

After Jim and I finished playing LCR, (none of us won again), we made our way to the Serenity Bar to have a few Thirsty Frog Red’s. We were only there a short time when Patti, who had tracked me down by seeing my last bar purchase on the Hub app, told me that she had gotten a message from Ryan back home. He had hurt his knee at work and he was being taken to the emergency room. We went back to the cabin to call him. By the time we reached him he was already home and resting. It was his left knee so he was able to take a Lyft back to his car, and then drive home from there. He had stretched his ligaments and was in a brace. He said he was a little swollen and sore but otherwise okay. Not the kind of call you want to get in the middle of the ocean, but we were relieved that he was home and okay.

 

We remained in the cabin until it was time for our Steakhouse dinner with Jim and Pat…..

 

 

I love the glass staircase from Deck 9 up to David’s Steakhouse…..
