Today they were doing all of the Frightfully Fun activities, including the costume contest and parade. My hip was really bothering me so I decided to head back to the cabin. Here is tonight’s turndown service…..

As promised, the laundry that Patti sent out this morning has returned. We love these cute little notes from the laundry staff………

I'm still following along and enjoying your review and Patti's pictures, as I always do.  I'd love to do a Bermuda cruise, especially one that allows plenty of time to explore.  But I've actually got a question this time.  Does Patti remember if this is the Glass/Glassworks place?  I've actually heard of it from a friend who was recently there & mentioned they had beautiful glass sea life.  I noticed the glass sea life and was curious if this was the place.  Sorry the weather wasn't the greatest for you, but glad to see the sun did come out.  Looking forward to the rest.

Yes this was. It was located in the crafts area. Patti said that no one was working there when she went through. :classic_cool:

Happy to see Bermuda again through Patti’s photos !

Quick question, did you attend any of the shows or lounge acts onboard ?

i was wondering about the quality of entertainment on Carnival cruises.

Thanks !

We didn't go to the production shows this cruise. Normally we'll go to some of the comedy shows, but this cruise we didn't. :classic_cool:

I know there is an additional cost for the Steakhouse. Can you order multiple items, like in the MDR? Or is it one appetizer per person?

Not like the MDR. You can order more than one appetizer no problem. However, if you order more than 1 entrée you will be charged an additional $20. I'm a big guy and as many times as I have eaten at the Steakhouse I have never ordered a second entrée. Way to much food to even consider it! :classic_biggrin:

Thanks! I'm glad I'll get to order more than 1 appetizer - there looks like so much good stuff to choose from!

Our Final Sea Day  -  10/27/18.

We were up at 7am and the ship was a rocking and a rolling. We were sailing through a nor’easter that was now hammering the eastern seaboard all the way up to New Jersey. We were getting spray all the way up on our balcony, and we were on Deck 7…..

I told Patti that if this keeps up that I wouldn’t be leaving the cabin. It’s not that we get seasick, which we don’t, but because it would be difficult to keep my balance since I was using a cane. Anyway, here are today’s Fun Times……

We decided to do the bulk of our packing now, and it was pretty difficult because of the movement of the ship, but we managed.

Around 10am the waves calmed down a smidge so we decided to head up to the Lido for some breakfast. Mermaid’s Grille was just about completely deserted. There were no lines and you could sit wherever you wanted. Patti got herself an omelet…..

IMG_4061-XL.jpg

IMG_4062-XL.jpg

I went into the regular breakfast line where I saw one of our servers from the MDR, Ouissem, who was working there and looking a little green around the gills. :classic_biggrin:…..

IMG_4063-XL.jpg

IMG_4064-XL.jpg

Patti was going to check out the shops while I tried my luck again at the blackjack table.  The “bags” were strategically placed around the ship. :classic_biggrin:…..

IMG_4065-XL.jpg

The luggage zone tag pick up began at 9am and by this time the early times had pretty much been picked clean. It was located near the Piazza Café on Deck 2…..

We were on the Pride in September and David's still had the old menu.  Do you know if this is a permanent change or was it only for the Journey's cruise?

They have switched over to the new menu. Ours was not a Journeys cruise. :classic_cool:

Around 1:30 we made our way back to the cabin to relax for a while. Here is our final towel creation of the cruise…..

IMG_4136-XL.jpg

Patti went up to the Lido to make salads for us. Looking outside you can see that the seas were getting calmer. They were allowing people out onto the open decks again…..
