Back in 2018 my husband and I got a day pass at the hilton when they had a no food pass option.  It was $40 a person.  Then we arranged with dive barbados to take a snorkeling trip to the turtles and shipwreck which was $45 a person.  We went to Cuz's for lunch right near the hotel.  We spent about $250 for the day for taxi, tips and a couple of drinks.  BUT it was not crowded, pool was great, service was wonderful, and snorkeling trip was just us and another couple.  I was at the boatyard with my kids in 2014 and it was a carbon copy of every tourist trap in the Caribbean - reggaes in st. kitt, mr. sanchos in Cozumel...
