puggleperson Posted November 21, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 21, 2018 I'm hopping on Ruby this upcoming Saturday. Can anyone tell me if the production on the ship is "Magic to do"? ..It's been on two of my ships already and I am NOT a fan so I am really hoping it's not going to be on this ship as well... Someone please give me some good news 😛 Also, Can anyone tell me what's playing on MUTTS? I want to make sure I don't download those specific movies onto my ipad. Do inside cabins have the on demand and new TV's? And anything else you can tell me would be great! Thank you! Haha I realize I must sound Tv obsessed - I'm really not, I just stay up later than my husband and I need the tv to entertain me 😛
rustanddust Posted November 21, 2018 #2 Share Posted November 21, 2018 (edited) Yes, still showing "magic to do"...the on demand TV's are nice, as our cruise (7 day coastal) did not have much in the way of onboard entertainment....MUTS showed Antman, Momma Mia, and some more obscure movies Edited November 21, 2018 by rustanddust
puggleperson Posted November 22, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted November 22, 2018 oh no... My husband will enjoy antman haha he's been begging me to see it and I told him I simply DO NOT want to see it.. I guess I will have to cave as I have no choice..I won't make him suffer through mama mia haha Super bummed about that Magic to do.. It was not good at all in my opinion, I was hoping to see something else.. Oh well I guess I'll go to bed early that night or hit the casino... It is a musical show produced by Steven Swartz around 55 minutes long that has magic illusions within it. It is not a magic show. I have seen it as least 4 times and enjoyed it. Arrive at least 45 minutes early for seating. Edited November 22, 2018 by skynight
charlesr1966 Posted November 23, 2018 #6 Share Posted November 23, 2018 I enjoyed it the first two times I saw it. Didn't this last time. Does anyone know if they changed it in the last two years.
Mike45LC Posted November 23, 2018 #7 Share Posted November 23, 2018 Magic to Do is a pleasant show, but I have seen it several times and will skip it if there is anything better to do that evening. If they are still doing Once Upon a Dream, I will probably skip that even if there is nothing else going on. The way they "improve" Bridge Over Troubled Waters" does bad things to my blood pressure. jlp20 Posted November 24, 2018 #9 Share Posted November 24, 2018 If you want to watch Vegas quality shows, go to Vegas. If you go in expecting a high school/college show that uses pre-recorded music/background vocals you won't be disappointed.
puggleperson Posted November 24, 2018 Author #10 Share Posted November 24, 2018 ohh I don;t know if I agree with that last comment. I think Princess entertainers are fantastic.. They could be on off broadway.... I still think they do a good job I just didn't enjoy Magic to do...None of my party did to be honest. I have not see Once upon a dream so hopefully they are doing that one instead 😛 my husband and I just watched crazy rich Asians last night and we did not get what all the hype was about so I will skip that. My husband will be bummed if Antman isn't playing because I already told him it was since the person above said it was .... Christopher robin hopefully is good but I bet it's a quiet movie and will be hard to hear haha ...we shall see, getting on the boat in less than 10 hours....Can't sleep at 4:12 am lol
